Glen Rose ISD is aware of social media posts circulating that allege rumors of violence and lock-downs at Glen Rose JH. Law enforcement and school officials have investigated all claims thoroughly and determined there were no credible threats and found no basis to any of the alleged claims or threats. Glen Rose ISD values the safety of students and staff. Parents, students and staff would be immediately informed by the District of any credible threat against a campus or person.
Glen Rose JH campus was not placed on lock-down Monday, September 23, 2019 This rumor is being fueled by social media with no basis in fact. Students were called to an assembly by grade level to address the issue and end any rumors circulating.
As always, parents are encouraged to contact their child’s campus principal with any questions or concerns. The safety of our students and staff is our top priority.
