A candidate application may be filed in person, by mail, by email, or by fax.
When filing, you must file the Appointment of Campaign Treasurer by Candidate and the Application for Place on Ballot.
If the office is closed due to inclement weather, please file your application for place on the ballot & appointment of campaign treasurer by email to frusni@grisd.net. This must be done before the deadline of 5:00 PM on February 16, 2024. (Please be advised that an application must be notarized prior to filing)

2023 Uniform Election Dates Schedule
Application forms may be obtained online (above), as well as in the superintendent secretary’s office located in the GRISD Administration Building, 1102 Stadium Drive, Glen Rose, TX 76043. The application for a place on the ballot and the Campaign Treasurer by Candidate forms will be filed with the superintendent secretary. (See Filing a Campaign Treasurer Appointment below)

About the Board
Glen Rose ISD Elected Officers (link to current board members)
The Board of Trustees consists of seven members elected to serve, without compensation, for overlapping terms of three years each. Candidates receiving the highest number of votes for the number of positions with expiring terms shall be elected. Elections are conducted annually in May. Following the election, the board elects a president, vice president and secretary to serve for one-year terms.
