GRES Principal’s Corner

Greetings GRES Families,

It is with great excitement that I write this letter of introduction as the newly appointed principal of Glen Rose Elementary! I am honored to serve you all in this new role.

I just completed my 25th year in education where I have served as a classroom teacher, reading specialist and for the past fourteen years as assistant principal in GRISD. I grew up in Arlington, Texas. I attended the University North Texas where I earned my degree in Education, went on to obtain a Masters in Reading followed by a specialist degree in Administrative Leadership from the University of Texas at Arlington.

I have lived in Nemo, just outside of Glen Rose for 16 years with my wonderful husband and beautiful daughter. My husband’s name is Sam, and he is a welder. Ellie has been blessed to be a Glen Rose Tiger since kindergarten and will now be entering 6th grade. They grow fast! We enjoy family time, all things outdoors from hunting to building barns. In my pastime I find joy in reading, yoga and growing as an educator.

I wholeheartedly believe that ALL children can learn at high levels, and it is my goal to ensure our children continue to receive a quality education in an environment that is safe and nurturing every day. I am committed to working in partnership with our families, staff and community to support our children in reaching their maximum potential. I promise to love, serve and lead your child as if they are my very own.

I look forward to our second semester! Our 2022-2023 school theme is “It’s all Fun and Games @GRES ~ Make your Move”. Join me as we learn and grow together with our amazing students, dedicated staff and supportive community!

With Tiger Pride,

Teri Teaff
