***CHANGE IN DATE*** The 8th grade parent meeting has been moved to Thursday, March 30 to be held at the High School Auditorium from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. This meeting is very important as it discusses High School Diploma plans, curriculum, activities available at High School, etc. Please plan to attend.
GRHS Students Released Early on March 24, 2017
Due to the UIL Academic events taking place at Glen Rose High School today, March 24, 2017, all HIGH SCHOOL students will be released at 12:00 PM. Buses will run at their normal time.
Read Around The Planet
Glen Rose Intermediate students and Mrs. May’s 6th Grade Tech Apps participated in Read Around the Planet sessions. Read Around the Planet sponsored by TWICE is a 2 week time period where 2 classes join together to share projects. Classrooms are randomly matched with other classes across North America. Congratulations to the JHS Choir for receiving straight ones and a superior rating for their concert performance and rating of excellence for their Sight-reading performance at the Middle School UIL concert and sight-reading contest on March 8th at Aledo HS.
Destination Imagination Team – History Heros
Glen Rose Intermediate School’s Destination Imagination team, History Heroes- I Preserve has been in full force this year. The team entered Destination Imagination’s Project Outreach Challenge- Ready, Willing and Fable this past fall.
