You can embed Nearpod directly into Canvas as a student paced lesson. It will auto add the student name when they go to that assignment. When you go to speedgrader it pulls in the Nearpod grades for you to view and grade. Remember that Nearpod has lots of lessons already created.
Go to Nearpod.com first and create or find your lesson which you want the students to complete. When you add the lesson into Canvas, you will be adding it in as a Canvas Assignment via an External Tool submission.
The directions below show you how to add Nearpod to Canvas. The video shows creating the assignment within the Assignment main menu category. You may also use the + button within a module to add the New Assignment. If you are presenting the lesson as a direct lesson (virtually in Zoom or Face to Face) you select Live when you add the assignment. If you are wanting students to go through the lesson on their own, you select Student Paced.
