Glen Rose ISD is excited and proud to announce that Caroline Davis, junior at Glen Rose High School, has been selected as the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) State President!
For a student to be considered for a state office the following steps occur:
- State officer candidates must submit an application and resume by December 1st of each year.
- Candidates
attend Region Conferences where each candidate gives a one-minute
speech, completes an assessment, and participates in an interview
process.
- State Officer Candidates attend the
State conference and complete an additional assessment and a second
interview with the nominating committee.
- The nominating committee will then select the candidate for the State Officer positions.
Caroline Davis is the first Glen Rose High School student to achieve the office of FCCLA State President!
