Glen Rose High School held their 1st annual Workforce Industry Training (WIT) induction ceremony on September 26, 2019. This program has impacted the lives of students from Glen Rose High School for eight years and has impacted over 150 graduates. It is more than just an extra-curricular activity; it has become a program that has helped students answer one of the ultimate questions – “what am I going to do after high school?”

The Glen Rose High School WIT organization was established in partnership with Texas A&M University’s Texas Engineering Experiment Station and the Nuclear Power Institute. The program was developed to encourage and support young men and women who wish to pursue careers in the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics – or STEM for short.

The young men and women listed below have not only shown aptitude for the STEM fields but also maintain and demonstrate outstanding examples of character, and were selected to join this organization by going through an application process as well as an interview.
