Glen Rose ISD hosted its annual Hannah Morales Memorial Softball tournament this past weekend. The lady Tigers went 4-1 defeating Clifton 4-1, Crowley 8-0, Bosqueville 3-2. The lady Tigers lost to Godley 3-8. This year was the 9th year for this tournament.

Glen Rose High School Teacher, Bryan Sowell received the nomination for 2023 Sponsor Excellence Award from the University Interscholastic League for his dedication to UIL over the past years.
Glen Rose ISD, welcomed Reilly Junge back to Glen Rose High School on Friday, February 16th to spend the day speaking to Mrs. Shaw’s Biology and Anatomy & Physiology classes. The Glen Rose High School Band had a very successful day this past Saturday in Aledo. The kids brought home 22 gold medals!16 students advanced from Region Competition to compete at state in May.The Varsity HS band competes at UIL Thursday Feb. 29 at 8:30 am. Thanks for your support!
The bleacher addition at the Softball and Baseball field has been completed. These additional bleachers will double the spectator seating at each field. There have also been tables added to finish the project.
On Monday, February 12th, the student parking lot directly across Stadium Drive from the JV football locker room will be closed due to construction. All students will need to park in the main student parking lot in front of the auditorium.
Glen Rose High School hosted district CX Debate on January 30th. We had 8 teams participating in the contest. These students will compete at the state contest in March.
