GRHS STEM Academy focuses on preparing young men and women for post-secondary education and career opportunities in science, technology, engineering and math.  The academy is a whole school model with the STEM emphasis available to all students in grades 9 through 12.

Courses at GRHS empower students to be successful in STEM careers.

Courses include physics, biology, chemistry, anatomy and physiology, algebra, pre-calculus, calculus, trigonometry and statistics at the dual and/or Advanced Placement levels.  Other courses include Geometry in Construction, Scientific Research and Design, Environmental Systems, Engineering Design, Computer Science, Computer Maintenance (Apple), Audio/Video Production, Printing and Imaging Design, Principles of Arts, Audio Video Technology and Communications, Animation, Business Information Management, Principles of Technology and Advanced Animal Science.

Additional STEM courses that emphasize career opportunities via certifications and/or an associate degree include Dual Welding, Automotive Technology, Construction in Technology, Building Maintenance Technology, Agricultural Mechanics and Metal Technologies, Food Technologies and Safety, Art,  Dual Cosmetology, Instructional Practices in Education and Training, Principles of Hospitality and Tourism and Culinary Arts.
