Glen Rose High School had 2 teams participating in the state Debate contest. Avery Gray and Paisley Evans as well as Caleb Hudson and Brady Stephenson.
Both teams advanced into the State Finals in CX Debate and qualified for UIL scholarships. Avery also received the Fourth Place Top Speaker Award for District 4A statewide! Also attending were Canyon Evans and Seth Prather as alternates.
Join the High School Jazz Band this Thursday the 21st for a concert at the First Baptist Church here in Glen Rose. The concert starts at 7pm and is free and open to the public. Come out and enjoy a night of Jazz.

Glen Rose ISD hosted the annual Hannah Morales Memorial Softball tournament this past weekend. The lady Tigers went 4-1 defeating Clifton 4-1, Crowley 8-0, Bosqueville 3-2. The lady Tigers lost to Godley 3-8.
