Parents and Guardians may begin viewing student STAAR 3-8 & EOC results from the Spring 2026 testing administration June 16th. Please reach out to Teri Teaff 254-898-3902 if you have any questions.
While in Skyward go ahead and also complete the RETURNING Student Registration for the 2026-2027 school year! You will need to upload a current proof of residency. This MUST all be done before a student can be assigned a schedule/teacher(s) for the 2026-2027 school year.

July 29 & 30 - Campuses open to help with Registration for NEW & RETURNING students & High School device pick up July 29 & 30.
August 6 - Meet the Teacher for Junior High & High School (times and details to come)
August 10 - Meet the Teacher for Elementary & Intermediate (times and details to come)
August 12 - First Day of School!!!!!

GRISD administration has been monitoring the weather, and we feel it is necessary to cancel our Big Event Day of Service on May 1st. We will contact our community members who have requested service to possibly reschedule their projects.
GRISD will still host the volunteer and sub appreciation brunch at the High School on May 1st from 10:00-11:00am
Students will still attend school on May 1st with early release at 1:00.

Glen Rose ISD's cell phone/electronic device policy effective 8-13-25 per Texas House Bill 1481, passed during the 89th Legislative Session, requiring all public schools in Texas to adopt policies restricting student access to personal communication devices during the school day while on school property.
Tiger families, your focus next week, July 28-August 1 is to get your students registered online for the 2025-2026 school year at www.grisd.net. Click the Registration link at the top of the website then click on New or Returning student registration. Read the flier attached with more details of this week. All 4 campuses are ready to help if you need anything!

July 16, 9am-12pm join us for some fun at the Fossil Rim Children’s Animal Center. We will have a sign-up for bus tours every hour, free books, and snacks. All ages are welcome, but we especially want to see our PK-5th grade students.
Bus rides will be limited to 2 adults for every child unless there is extra room at the time of loading the bus.
GRISD Nutrition serves into the summer!
All 6th-12th grade students will be turning in their technology device and charger this week on their campus. Parents will receive an email from MySchool Bucks if there are any fees for damages with or without insurance. All High School Seniors MUST have devices turned in and fees paid prior to Graduation on May 23, 7pm. Thank you for your support in getting these turned in! GRISD Technology Department

DRILL-HAPPENING NOW-Please be advised there is a Disaster Drill/Program at Glen Rose High School. This is a drill that simulates a major vehicle accident and is conducted in partnership with local first responders and Glen Rose Medical Center.
