Glen Rose HS and JHS Choirs are hosting their annual fundraising dinner, the Red Pancake Supper and Silent Auction on Friday, October 18th 3:35 pm - 7:00 pm in the HS Cafeteria. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door, or from a choir member. To go is available at the HS Front Door due to construction. Proceeds go to benefit the HS Choir Trip to New York City, and JHS Choirs to Epic Water Park and Sea World.
CTE Construction Update-
The construction crews will be pouring concrete around the CTE building beginning at 3:00 a.m. on Friday, October 11th.

Just a reminder that Friday, October 4, 2024 is a regular school day for Glen Rose ISD. This was originally set as our annual Big Event Day but that has been changed to May 9, 2025.

The construction company will start pouring concrete at 12 a.m. tonight, Oct. 2nd, 2024.
Please be advised that there will be some noise and light on the construction site during this time. SRO’s will be stationed at the site in the morning to assist with traffic for elementary and intermediate drop off. Great things are happening at Glen Rose ISD!

Construction update for CTE
We are excited that concrete will be poured next week for the new CTE building!
The construction company will start pouring concrete at 2 a.m. on Tuesday September 24th. Please be advised that there will be some noise and light on the construction site during this time. SRO’s will be stationed at the site in the morning to assist with traffic for elementary and intermediate drop off.

The official school calendar has been amended by the school board which moved the BIG event day to the spring. BIG event will now be May 9th, not October 4th. October the 4th will be a regular school day. October the 11th, will still be a teacher workday with NO school for students. GRISD will also be closed October the 14th, Columbus Day.
In an effort to keep the community informed
Due to recent statements made, we have asked for local law enforcement to provide additional support on the HS campus today.
This situation has been investigated by safety and security as well as local law enforcement and it has been determined there is no credible threat. Safety for our students and staff is paramount and we will continue to monitor the situation.
