This past weekend the Varsity Competition Cheer team competed at the UCA North Texas Regional competition, placing 1st in their division! This is the first time cheer has brought home 1st place! The team also received their first bid to the UCA - NHSCC High School Nationals at Disney World in February.

Start by downloading the GRISD app.
From the new GRISD app, toggle to Rooms in the bottom right corner.
Then toggle to the phone icon in the top right corner.
Enter your mobile phone number and touch send code.
Enter the code you received and click confirm.
After agreeing to the terms, you should see your student’s teachers.
If you do not get a code or see classes, we may need to link you to your student’s account. Please send an email to support@grisd.net for assistance.
We will need your student’s name and grade level as well as your name and cell phone number. After verification, we will be able to link your account which will allow you access.

CTE Construction Update: The construction crews will be pouring concrete at the south side of the new CTE building beginning at 5:00 am on Friday, October 18th.

Glen Rose HS and JHS Choirs are hosting their annual fundraising dinner, the Red Pancake Supper and Silent Auction on Friday, October 18th 3:35 pm - 7:00 pm in the HS Cafeteria. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the door, or from a choir member. To go is available at the HS Front Door due to construction. Proceeds go to benefit the HS Choir Trip to New York City, and JHS Choirs to Epic Water Park and Sea World.
