UIL Events
UIL gives students in grades 3–5 a chance to shine in a variety of academic contests. Events include subjects like math, reading, writing, spelling, maps, art, and more. Students practice with coaches to prepare for competitions where they can challenge themselves, show off their talents, and have fun learning along the way. It’s a great way to build confidence, teamwork, and school spirit!

Robotics Club
The 5th Grade Robotics Club gives students a chance to dive into the world of STEM through hands-on creativity and teamwork. Using LEGO Spike robots, students design, build, and program their own robots, then put their skills to the test in an area competition each spring. They’ll learn coding, problem-solving, and collaboration as they compete against teams of 4th–8th graders from area schools—all while having a blast bringing their robots to life!
