Glen Rose Elementary and Glen Rose Intermediate are excited to host another summer of Cool Reads Summer Reading. Join us at various locations for some summer fun, a cool snack, and a free book. Follow GRISlibrary on Facebook for details about each event.
Any elementary or intermediate-aged student (pk-5) is welcome to participate. Students will pick out a free book at the end of each event.
- Tuesday, June 6, Barnard’s Mill, 9am-12pm, Texas Ranger exhibit and art activity
- Thursday, July 13, 9am-12pm, Fossil Rim Overlook and Children’s Petting Zoo, snack and hourly tours of the animal pastures.
- Thursday, August 3, Dinosaur Valley RV Park, 10:00-12:00 Elementary Swim, 12:00-2:00 Intermediate Swim (If you have students at both campuses, pick one time slot to come and swim.)
