Study Mate is from Respondus and a part of our license. It is like Quizlet but will autologin you and your students because of going in via Canvas.
As a teacher you can create sets (import info you already have or enter info) and assign it to students. It will track usage if you assign a set.
You can also have students create their own sets of info. Students can then share a URL with other students. Anyone who uses the URL shared with them is not tracked. It only tracks sets which teachers create and then share with the Canvas course.
It is easy to add the app to your Canvas course.

- search for Study Mate and click add
- contact tech for secret and key
- save
When done, it will add Study Mate to the left menu for both students and teachers. Teachers will create, add to course, and/or view usage from this menu item. Students can access content or create sets from this menu item. Teachers can also embed the Study Mate into any assignment as external tool submission type. Let me know if you want more information. I will also turn this on if you want me to do the steps. It is just something easy to add into Canvas.
