Skyward – send a message (email)

  1. Login to Skyward and go to your gradebook. Select the class you want to send an email or the student is in which you want to send an email.

2. When sent messages show click to start a new message.

3. Select to add message for all classes or current class. (I would do current class.)

Main body of email

Fill out all the information. If sending to parents, leave as many options open as possible. I also check to “Email to Additional Recipients” and put my email address in. This way I can check that the email went. At the bottom of this screen you will see a list of students. You can clear all or select all. If you want a select few students then clear all and mark just the students you want.

Click Save when done to send the message. Make sure you note the time the email will be sent.

Emails will come from: From: <donotreply@grisd.net>
