Charity Hatley, Glen Rose Junior High librarian, and Junior High Student Council went to visit the Glen Rose Nursing and Rehab Center. Students used technology to virtually take residents to locations around the world. As they traveled to locations with 360 degree images from Rome, underwater in the Florida Keys, Grand Canyon, and many more, residents shared stories about their life travels such as when they road a horse to the top of Pike’s Peak. Some residents were even brave enough to go on a roller coaster ride in 3D using virtual reality goggles. Glen Rose Nursing and Rehab Center provided warm cookies for all who participated in the program.
